Many people believe judges don't have a healthy sense of humor. Some say judges lose their connection to a community when they attain this position. But not my dad. He strives to maintain plenty of non-judicial connections to our community.
Judge Chris Griffin is running to serve the recently established Circuit Court, Division 8, for Benton County, Arkansas, which was added to address Northwest Arkansas's growing population. He served for nearly a decade as the State District Court Judge serving Benton County, Rogers Division. We believe his skillset, dedication to law enforcement programs, and conservative judicial temperament are a perfect match for Division 8. The Arkansas Legislature created this position and it is scheduled to work with the Criminal Docket to address the increase in arrests that naturally accompany communities facing tremendous growth.
